Ingredients

  • 1 Nutcase Vegan Nutty Loaf

  • 2-4 cloves garlic, whole and unpeeled

  • 4 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 pounds potatoes, preferably Yukon Gold or red, a waxy potato

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt , plus more to taste

  • 1/3 cup vegan milk or cream

  • Chefs optional extras 1-2 tbsp of horseradish, vegan cheddar

Preheat the oven:

Preheat the oven to 400°F.

  1. Roast the garlic:

    Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, remove and peel.

  2. Boil the potatoes:

    Cut potatoes into quarters, bring to boil then moderately boil for 20 minutes or until fork tender.

  3. Strain potatoes, throw them back in warm pan and add smashed garlic

  4. Add vegan milk and olive oil

  5. Mash with salt and pepper to taste

  6. Add any desired “chef’s extras”

  7. Enjoy with Nutcase Vegan Nutty Loaf!
